| INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Researchers are invited to submit proposals for
paper presentations. Proposals from any relevant
discipline will be considered, provided they make an original academic
contribution to the study of cultural policy. Proposals based on research
that is primarily 'instrumental' (such as market research) or on research
designed for the purposes of advocating a preconceived institutional
position will not be accepted. This does not exclude applied research
of high academic quality.
Although ICCPR 2008 will consider proposals for the investigation of
any aspect of cultural policy (see Main Page),
it particularly seeks proposals for research
papers on the following topics:
- Cultural policy and globalisation
- Cultural policy, religion and secularism
- Intellectuals and cultural
policy
- Politics of cultural policy
- Cultural policy and values
- Historiographies of cultural policy
- Cultural policy in Mediterranean
countries
- Comparative cultural policy
- Cultural policy and cultural industries
- Artist policy
- Creativity and the city
- Cultural policy and development policy
- Cultural policy as welfare
policy
- Culture and economy
- Cultural policy, cultural diplomacy and international
relations
- Cultural Participation
Instructions for Authors
Papers should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, written in English and submitted in Word format. Authors are asked to follow the Harvard system of referencing. Your submission should include:
• Title of paper
• Name of author(s)
• Institutional affiliation(s) of author(s)
• Abstract of no more than 150 words
• 3-6 keywords that reflect the paper's content
• Contact details (including email and full postal address) of corresponding author
• Word count of paper (including footnotes but excluding references)
Please submit your paper electronically by April 30th 2008 to iccpr2008@gmail.com. We will contact you again after April 30th with our guidelines for the presentation of papers.
Publication of papers
All accepted papers will be published by ICCPR
2008 four weeks before the conference.
Following ICCPR 2008, a selection of papers may
also be developed for publication in the
International
Journal of Cultural Policy. |
